I am a native of Metairie, LA, but I have lived in Baton Rouge since 1980.  My husband and I have six children - four girls and two boys. 

Although I have sung all my life, I began singing solos in my church in 1991.  After six grueling years of juggling work, six children, and school, I earned a Bachelor of Music Education degree specializing in Vocal Music from Louisiana State University in 2001. 

I taught for two years at the high school level, but I enjoy teaching at Broadmoor Middle much more.  I came to Broadmoor at the beginning of the 2003 school year.  The students are great, and the faculty is awesome.  Go, Bucs!
